We are committed to supporting war survivors and displaced communities worldwide, starting from Sudan. Through humanitarian aid, education, and advocacy, we work to restore dignity, safety, and opportunity for those affected by conflict.

The Silent War
Since April 2023, Sudan has been gripped by a devastating war between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). What began as a political dispute has escalated into a brutal conflict engulfing cities from Khartoum to Darfur.
The humanitarian toll is catastrophic: over 150,000 lives lost, 12.4 million people displaced, and more than 26 million facing extreme food insecurity. Hospitals have collapsed, human rights are systematically violated, and yet the world continues to look away.
One Container, Many Hands
In response to this overlooked crisis, SSAW – Support Survivors of African War launched the SSSW project (Support Survivors of Sudan War), a humanitarian aid campaign rooted in decolonial and agroecological principles.
The first goal: to fill and ship a humanitarian container with life-saving supplies. Thanks to volunteers, donors, and allied organizations, SSAW collected and packed over €65,000 worth of essential goods, including:
